Industry recognises high standard of street works at NJUG Awards 2010

WHC Hire Services and Severn Trent Water were NJUG winners in the NJUG Safety Awards category of Vision for Hand Arm Vibration  

December 1st 2010 – The top performing utility companies and contractors in the street works industry were recognised across six different categories at a parliamentary reception held yesterday in the House of Commons. The event offered an opportunity for them to show via case studies how they used innovative methods to improve the efficiency and quality of street works, and the delivery of one or more of the objectives of the NJUG Vision for Street Works. The winners themselves were congratulated by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State Norman Baker MP and Shadow Transport Minister John Woodcock MP who both spoke at the event.
